How should I handle this?

I have been dating my gf for about 2 months now and everything is going pretty well. One night over the phone she had accidentally said that she loves me. At first I was shocked but now I find it comforting to know that she really cares about me. But I'm not too sure how I fel about her. I mean i deeply care about her and when I'm with her I'm extremely happy and forget about all of the problems in my life...most of the time. I think that I should take some time to decipher theses feelings before jumping into anything...right?
