What are some movies/directors that allow visuals and limited camera shots to tell a lot of the story?

What I mean is, when they don't rely on constantly alternating close ups and changing camera angles just to convey every detail, but instead try to capture as much as possible using cleverness. As if to make it feel more real and spontaneous.
