Wisdom teeth are coming in...Will they shift my other teeth?

So I have all four wisdom teeth under my gums, and they have never given me a problem until now. My top wisdom teeth are not impacted, but are trying to grow in with minimal space, though they do appear to be growing straight. I have had a dull ache for the past few days, and I am scheduled to have them removed in about 10 days. Will they shift my other teeth in the meantime? I went through many years of childhood with braces to acheive great teeth, and now I am afraid they will be ruined and I will not have the funds to correct it because I am in college.
