Put me in touch with someone like me?

I have so had enough of the way I am being treated. my husband is a control freak and has put me down for years. I am now addressin an alcohol problem but he is not giving me any support. all i wanted was a cuddle and to be told I would be ok but the more he distances me the worse I feel> I am convinved he has bi polar and is very very verbally abusive. Always has been. Puting me down seems to make him fel better about his behaviour. I have been a fool thinking he would change. We have been married 37 years, should I walk. separate beds now for 7 years.
