My molars hurt.. plz help?

ok so iv had braces for about a month ow and everything seemed to be ok. but 2 days ago i noticed that wen i bite down the molars that have the metal bands around them hurt reallllyyy bad. wat should i do? i dont want to tell the dentest because i kinda hav dentaphobia and im scared that they might hav 2 pull out my tooth or something.i need some advice. is this normal? is there anything i can do?
